Air Cooled Deluxe Arc Welding sets are specially designed to meet with the requirements of heaviest type of structural & fabrications jobs, where low hydrogen & special electrodes are recommended for positive results.

It can be used for Boilers, Pipe line, over - head welding or where deep penetration of welding is required. These machines are also used as power source for STRESS RELEIVING, Argon Gas Shielded Arc welding Tungston electrode ( TIG ) for the welding of Aluminium & Aluminium Alloy.

» Construction
The set consists of heavily copper wound Transformer fitted on heavy steel frame covered with ventilated M.S Sheets mounted on rubber wheels are swivelling type for easy portability. The current is controlled by air gap between primary & Secondary coils by means of magnetic shunt.

It is designed to meet the needs of heavy type of jobs like: Rolling Mills, Sugar Mills. Shipyards, Maintenance of Machinery and all type of heavy fabricaion.

The set consists of a Heavy Duty transformer housed and secured by means of nuts and bolts in a heavy gauge steel plate tank with heavily wounded Primary and Secondary coils submerged in oil to provide cooling.

The current is controlled by means of Air Gap between Primary & Secondary Coil. The Sterco Arc welding transformers are manufactured in accordance with IS : 1851 (1997) specifications and mounted on three Cast Iron / Rubber wheels with front wheel swiveling and steerable by means of draw bar.

Oil Cooled Stepless Regulator Type Arc Welder is suitable for Bridges, Construction Jobs, Automobile Workshops, Steel Furniture, Gate Grills, Truck repairing and all types of fabrication jobs. The set consists of a Transformer, housed in a steel tank, with heavily wounded primary and secondary coils, with pure copper.

The current is controlled by adding variable choke. The Sterco Arc Welding Transformers are manufactured in accordance with I.S. 1851 (1975) specifications and designed to operate on 230 volts single phase 380/440volts, 50Hz (two lines of three phase A.C supply) It process the highest efficiency and is mounted on four C.I./Rubber wheels.
